Hugo Ortega, co-owner of Alta Pavina with his brother Diego, says that with this blend they sought to "evoke the wines of the Ribera del Duero, which were the first ones we knew and with which we grew up."
The freshness and acidity provided by the altitude at which the vineyard of origin is located, together with the intensity of the Cabernet Sauvignon, give it a very particular character marked by complexity and balance.
View: Deep red with good layer.
Nose: Intense and concentrated aromas of black fruits, but delicate at the same time. Very sweet, with spicy notes provided by the oak. A complex and perfectly blended red wine.
Mouth: Its initial power stands out, accompanied by fine and elegant sensations, the result of the perfect blend of two such noble varieties. A long, intense and very pleasant wine due to its evident balance.
Pairing: Ideal to accompany stews, game dishes and hearty meats.
Consumption:
Optimal until approximately 2026, if kept in good condition.
